ABOUT

Dr. David Farcy has an impressive lineage as the 5th generation of doctors in his family. His journey in medicine began as a dedicated medic in the US Air Force back in 1990. His passion for healthcare led him to specialize in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. After completing his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University in 1996, Dr. Farcy pursued his Medical Degree at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico, graduating in 2000. Following this, he embarked on his Emergency Medicine Residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, earning his specialization in 2005. Driven by his pursuit of excellence, he then pursued a prestigious fellowship in Emergency Medicine/Critical Care at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Farcy has devoted himself to medical education, optimizing process flow, and enhancing departmental efficiency, all in the name of improving patient outcomes. 

As an advocate for professional advancement, Dr. Farcy currently serves as the Immediate Past President of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, having held multiple leadership positions within the Academy since 2011, both nationally and within the Florida Chapter.

Not only does Dr. Farcy excel in his medical practice, but he also actively participates in crisis relief efforts worldwide, lending his expertise and support in times of need, be it natural disasters or assisting in military combat and terrorist attack scenarios. Driven by his unwavering commitment, Dr. Farcy stands as a staunch advocate for those requiring urgent care.

Renowned as a national and international speaker, Dr. Farcy has contributed to the medical field through various published papers and a textbook on emergency medicine critical care. His areas of expertise lie in critical care medicine, cardiac arrest, extracorporeal life support (ECLS), resuscitation, and disaster medicine. Dr. Farcy firmly believes that effective communication is vital in reducing medical errors and improving patient outcomes. Embracing a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare, he recognizes the invaluable contributions of each member of the medical team.
